We take confidentiality & legislative compliance very seriously at Property Recruitment Australia and we ask both clients and candidates to do the same.
This extends to the legislative backdrop in the region of operation but also goes well beyond it. Employers are asked not to take informal references on candidates until we have negotiated access to referees who will give an employer’s perspective which is well informed and objective. Candidates, similarly, are asked to recognise that information about clients and jobs is given for the mutual purpose of job/career evaluation and not for disclosure to third parties. Both sides of the recruitment equation are under a whole range of common law and statutory obligations in terms of Fair Trading, Privacy , Equal Opportunity, Anti-Discrimination, Employment and Occupational Health & Safety legislation which they should make themselves fully aware of as it might apply to the context of their situation. We will be pleased to assist with this in general terms but specialist advice from appropriate professionals or Government departments should be sought where in doubt as we are unable to accept responsibility where a client or candidate defaults.
